That was pleasant.
Not.
Haven't you taught those idiotic aurors ANYTHING, Potter? |

I suppose that scream of frustration you're about to hear is the ghost of the Dark Lord, abjectly disappointed that I get to walk out of here intact tomorrow....well--in four hours, seventeen minutes. No. I've not been counting. Whatever gave you that impression? |

There's a crowd of people in extremely mismatched Muggle clothing, carrying placards and I think I can faintly make out the chant 'down with all snakes' and 'snake-snoggers should go to jail'.
How utterly charming. Perhaps I will take a stroll down and give them soething to really get themselves worked up over. As they all look like nutters, since the entire perimeter of the manor looks as if the house and property are completely dilapdated to any Muggle who come past. Even I know that housedresses are for Muggle WOMEN.
Five days. Bloody hell. |

A mausoleum she calls it. Prissy bint.
I shall be glad to finally see the world outside of the Manor...or at the very least, not have to hear that damned perimeter ward go off every time I accidentally forget where the south boundary of the Manor is. Ah, the life of the idle not-so-rich, filled with parties and wonderfully vapid conversation.
I am just about ready to gnaw my own arm off. |

Well well well. You all returned safe and sound.
Dammit.
I'm sure you'll all wish you could have stayed at home, soon enough. Oh. You're required to be here by law. Oops. |

...I wish I had something other than my hopes and wishes that you managed to have some semblance of a Happy birthday. As soon as I am able, I will spend the whole day with you doing anything you would want to do.
I love you Mother.
Happy Birthday

anyone attempting to break the ward will end up on the wrong end of a particularly vicious Bat-Bogey Hex
I think I've managed to piss your lot off just a little bit. Take a look at Brown's journal. Do be a love and take advantage of that righteous indignation to get them to do something?
By the way...you're welcome for the Great Hall.
DM.
P.S.: You really need to tell Fletchley to calm down. He's going to get Jones' crucio'ed next if he's not careful.
P.P.S.: Are they really that stupid? Goldstein's a blustering idiot. He's going to have to end up in front of the Carrows or Snape at this rate. |

I do hate to disturb you with nonsense, but I believe we have a bit of a situation brewing, since Parkinson's deciding she'd like to be Head Girl.
All right, mainly it's because she's interfereing with what I need to do and creating that much of a ruckus is going to make it that much harder to glean things from journals and just general chatter in classes. Most other students don't trust Slytherin as is, and though I have my own suspecions about our Head Students (especially Macmillian), I can't get more info if Parkinson's bollocking up the works.
Advise, please? |

You know what, Brown, if you're really going to be that childish, stamp your feet and complain about things you can't stand, here's a list of mine for you:
You're a vapid, shallow, ignorant little girl who only cares about hair, face paint and getting snogged. No bloke, and I do mean NO BLOKE in his right mind would touch you with a ten foot pole--well, let's not be ridiculous they would, but don't expect them to hang around, listening to your whining, nagging and down-right idiotic prattle. They're not interested in your for your one and one-half brain cells.
Oh, and before Patil or Macmillan decide they want to jump in, remind me that I'm a prefect, that I need to be to some higher standard and to tell me how insulting I am:
one, Brown started it two, I'm finishing it. She made her ruddy bed, now let her lay in it.
You all were really better off when I was depressed, moody, sullen and monosyllabic. When you walk past Brown today, DO be sure and thank her for waking me.
Oh and for whoever it is who thinks it's amusing to leave notes about how Potter still fights for us and to remember Dumbledore...well, I do hope you enjoy talking to the Carrows. Ask Abbott or Macdougal how that tends to go. But please, continue. I'd like to catch the point where you slip up. |

I see there's been another littering debacle. At least they had the common courtesy to leave them off the floor this time. I also love to see silly little girls with less brains than a flobberworm being miserable by their own hands. Maybe they'll learn to keep their noses out of other people's business from now on.
Now, what am I thinking? They're dumber than flobberworms. Of course they won't. Let the trainwrecks begin. |

Father:
I was wondering something. Does your Dark Mark ever pain you? Or ache, itch or owthwise bother you? It's been something that seems to happen a great deal, and I don't know why.
Any help or answers you could give me, I would appreciate as always.
Please tell Mother I love her. |

...it is easier to hold on to things, when I have heard from Mother and Father and know they are safe. The thing with Weasley was stupid on my part. It is difficult, but I must not slip again. She will tell Snape eventually, and then I will be done for. Sent back to the Manor to suffer whatever tasks the Snake has for me, to torment my parents further.
I should not have told Father my task. But he is my father. He had sacrificed much for Mother and I. I cannot continue to let him down.
But....
No. that is too dangerous to voice, even here.
